HeeSun Lee is a veteran in Christian Hip Hop. Even though this is only her 3rd album, she has been around for a while. This album is her first as an independent artist, as she left the label she was signed to last year. The first thing that becomes apparent on this album is that HeeSun can rap. She is a very talented lyricist and has a great voice for rap. With that said, this is a very solid project. My only critique of it is that though lyrically the project is solid, there isn't anything that you will find that will stick in your head. I listened to the project several times looking for that one song that would grab me and keep me wanting to replay it. Instead, I found that the album is missing that factor. The good news, though, is this is an album that you can let play from beginning to end without skipping anything. Every song is solid so though the album isn't spectacular it's definitely above average and worth picking up.
